God Bless  / Pastor Otinel (Pastor)
Hello friends,
I want to express my regrets at the loss of Frances, but at the same time I would like you all to be thankful to God for the long and productive life she had. Not all had that blessing. Jim, it was an honor to be able to be at her bedside just hours before she moved on to rest till the Lord will call her to come out of the place of the dead. Jim, and family, please never forget that your mother had one wish and only one for you - that your relationship with the Creator will be of such that she will be able to see you soon. If I can be of any service, or Needles Seventh-day Adventist Church, please let us know. We owe that to you and your mother.

God bless.

What a woman!  / Vicki Horst (Niece)
My Aunt Frances was a wonderful woman. She was full of love and encouragement for her family as well as all she met. Some of my memories are of an Easter egg hunt at her house in Costa Mesa. The whole family would gather and celebrate all day. All the cousins would hunt for eggs and candy and spend the day eating good food and enjoying each other. I remember her curio cabinets full of little dogs, miniature vases and spoons collected from around the world. She was an excellent crafts woman. She made me many things throughout my life that I will always treasure. She was also an avid reader and I loved discussing some of our favorite authors and books. She was always so loving and giving. She was a sweet, sweet soul and will be missed by her family and all who knew her! Close

Her Lagacy  / Michael Schroeder (Acquaintance)
As a part time resident of Needles, I only got to meet and speak with Frances on a few occasions over the years.  She was always so very pleasant.  What I admired most is how she spoke of her son, Jim.  As a young man, I would often wonder if my my own mother would someday speak so admirably and eloquently about me.

You see, Jim and I spend many an hour sitting on deck and dock alike watching the stars under the constant migration of the great Colorado River.  It tends to cleanse a man's soul, placate any dilemmas and generally promote good conversation.  We would discuss philosphies of ideas and the rationalism of our decisions.  We would ultimately talk about Mom's, Wives and children (the ones we both love the most).

By virtue of great discourse, I came to realize that Jim is a fine man, a very fine man.  And I know in my heart that it took it took an absolutely wonderful lady to raise this fine man.

We were lucky to know Frances and just as fornunate to know part of her legacy, Jim.

Best wishes to Jim and Barbera (Bobbi).

Love,

Michael Schroeder
